Is Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago running for president?

On Wednesday, Sen. Santiago hinted that she will compete with others for the highest position in the 2016 elections. Santiago was quoted in a photo posted on her Facebook account bearing the message: “I’m not going to be coy. Society leaders have urged me to seek the presidency. I can rise to the occasion.”
