On Tuesday, Nov. 24, a Russian fighter jet was shot down by a Turkish F-16 fighter jet after violating Turkish airspace.

The two pilot managed to eject out of the blazing jet before it struck the ground.

While one of the pilots was shot dead by rebels as he parachuted down. The navigator, Capt Konstanin Murakhin, somehow managed to survive, in spite of initial reports that he too had been killed.

‘Turkish jets gave us no warning before shooting’

The rescued pilot, Tuesday, insists that his plane did not cross into Turkey’s airspace, and says he was given no visual or radio warning before being fired at.

Meanwhile, In a disturbing footage released by the Free Syrian Army rebel group, a Syrian rebel can be seen firing a U.S. Anti-tank TOW missile which is said destroyed a Russian rescue helicopter which was looking for the two missing pilots. -John Esconde
