A hip-hop dance group, the XB Gensan represented the Philippines was declared as the overall champion in an impressive performance and intense dance move at the Dance2Dance street dance championships held in Zurich, Switzerland last Saturday.
Among 10 other tough competing groups from all over the world, the Philippines pride XB Gensan took home the grand prize in which Russia took the second place and the third placer is from the United States.
XB Gensan was chosen to represent the country in an international hip-hop dance competition called Dance2Dance, wherein over a hundred groups of dancers from the Philippines took the auditioned.
The now popular group XB Gensan members were from General Santos City and became a regular in-house dance group when they bagged the top prize on a talent search contest first edition in a noontime show, “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN network. -Jason E.
