A train line system in the Philippines is one of the top priority projects of the Duterte administration. That includes a high-speed train line or a bullet train that will connect the entire Philippine archipelago.

A very promising project of President Rodrigo Duterte for the Filipino people wherein the Philippines may soon be included in the list of nations that uses a high-speed mass railway system like Japan, China, South Korea, and Taiwan.

According to Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman Martin Diño at the sidelines of an inquiry by the House transportation committee. He disclosed the first “bullet train system” here in the Philippines would be built between Subic in Zambales and Clark in Pampanga.

A Chinese company will spearhead the construction of the first ever bullet train project through a public-private partnership, Diño said, but he did not mention the name of the Chinese firm.

Diño said train system project is one of the top agenda of President Rodrigo Duterte’s state visit to China from October 18 to 21

Diño told reporters that among of this topic is the Clark-Subic bullet train, which the President will discuss with the Chinese.

“It is our first bullet train. Hopefully, magawa agad.” Diño added. - JCE.
