Duterte said “In the matters, I said of arms, I said, ‘Do not buy from anyone except Israel.’ Why? Because we have excellent relations and if you send us this gadget they will not include a bug there that for them to listen also to what we’re saying.

According to Duterte, the United States had refused to sell some weapons to his country and he is willing to buy from an Israeli defense firm.”

If I get it from America, you are talking in secret – blah blah blah – and they are listening before you buy it,” said Duterte.

He said “So all of my equipment we would be buying… I’ve always told to the national security… General Esperon, he is here, I said buy it from the Israel companies. Because we are safe and we are friends and we can never quarrel because we don’t own lands there. We cannot be occupying or extending our property there for you to get angry, we’re so words apart so what is really the basic or common of what? What is the common denominator that makes us decent?”
