German Molina Moreno, also known as Kuya Germs or the Master Showman, was a Filipino television host, actor, comedian and talent manager popular during the 1980s.

Moreno passed away Friday, January 08, 2016, 3:20 am at the age of 82. It was confirmed by Moreno’s nephew John Nite through a statement sent to GMA News Online.

“He passed on in the company of his family and friends. He lived a full life, touched so many hearts through the years, and helped make dreams come true for most of the biggest stars in the Philippine entertainment industry,” He said

“We are deeply saddened by his passing but we are comforted by the thought that his legacy will live on,” he added.

Moreno became involved in showbiz industry working as a janitor and a curtain raiser at clover theater. He later became a comedian of the bodabil stage and the post-war screen. His biggest break on television came in the late 1970s when he became the host of a noontime variety show, GMA Supershow.
