It maybe because of a Facebook status about a new player in the telecommunications market in the Philippines that has been going around. Or from people that are tired of the super slow internet connection here in the Philippines. Or maybe because of the photo below of a rumored TELSTRA Philippines HQ.

Telstra statement

There has been a discussion between Testra and San Miguel Corp. according to Telstra but nothing has been finalized, no contracts signed, no agreements made and there is NO assurance when this agreement will happen or if it will even happen in the future.

  1. Much Better Telstra must joint venture with San Miguel to start to stop monopolizing the communication sector in Philippines by Oligarch Company that is very lousy services and taking too much money of the Filipino people. Anyway this is business so competition must brought to the highlight the good services so they can compete and the people can decide where to put their money wisely and not to the company that serving that people does not have any choice than to whatever is available.
