LAS VEGAS - After “Furious 7″ hit $1.15 billion at the worldwide box office, Vin Diesel is motivated for next upcoming franchise of this film.

Diesel made the announcement during Universal’s CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas Thursday (April 23) that there will be an eight movie in the Fast and Furious franchise and it is set for release April 14, 2017.

Just before Diesel made the announcement, footage screened of the final moment of “Furious 7, “a scene in which the two characters go on one final car race before going their separate ways.

“We were giddy and excited, You all gave me so much confidence. There was so much love. I swear to you and to my brother upstairs [Walker], we are going to make the best movie you’ve ever seen,” Diesel said during Universal’s presentation.
