Japan’s Oosumi-class landing ship carrying ground-based missile interceptor is now travelling from Hiroshima Prefecture to Okinawa on Thursday, Feb. 4 to prepare for a possibility of destroying a North Korean missile set to launch anytime this February.

Patriot Advanced Capability-3 interceptor will destroy the debris just in case the missile launch poses danger to Japan’s territory.

The vessel of Japan’s Maritime Self-Defense Force will arrive in the southern island of Miyako and Ishigaki in Okinawa Prefecture in few days for their deployment.

The Philippines is safe just in case it over shoots and heads toward the southern part of Japan or northern part of the Philippines.
